Hammersmith and Fulham runs no bonfire night display in 2026. The nearest are Wimbledon Park on 5 Nov from £15.90 and Battersea Park on 7 and 8 Nov.

Is there a fireworks display in Fulham this year? No. Hammersmith and Fulham Council is not running a bonfire night display in 2026, and nobody else has listed a public one in the borough. Bonfire night is Thursday 5 November. The two nearest big displays are both an easy trip from Fulham: Wimbledon Park on Thursday 5 November, straight down the District line, and Battersea Park on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, across the river. Both are advance ticket only.

How we know there is no Fulham display

We read every page of the council’s events calendar on 4 October. The only borough events in the first week of November are the Saturday parkruns at Fulham Palace and Wormwood Scrubs and the two Remembrance Sunday parades on 8 November. There is no fireworks, bonfire or Guy Fawkes listing anywhere in it. We found the same thing when we first checked in September, so this is not a listing that is merely late.

The funfair on Eel Brook Common is not a bonfire night stand-in either: the council lists its autumn visits as 8 to 11 October and 15 to 18 October, both well before the fifth.

If a private club or a garden square near you holds something, it will be for members or keyholders. There is no borough display to turn up to.

Wimbledon Park: Thursday 5 November

Merton Council’s Fireworks in the Park is the only big display near Fulham on bonfire night itself, and it is the simplest trip: District line trains from Putney Bridge, Parsons Green and Fulham Broadway on the Wimbledon branch run straight to Southfields and Wimbledon Park, the two stations by the gates.

The running order:

Time What happens
5.15pm Gates and funfair open
6.45pm First fireworks show, “more suitable for young children”
7.15pm Gates open for the second show
8.30pm Second fireworks show
10pm Funfair closes

Both shows are set to music, with a street food village, a licensed bar and a funfair. The council’s ticket listing on See Tickets prices the Wimbledon Park night at:

  • Adult (16+): £15.90 (£15 face value plus fee)
  • Child (5 to 15): £11.66 (£11 face value)
  • Family, two adults and two children: £48.76 (£46 face value)

The council warns that “these shows do sell out”. There are no cash points on site.

Which gate. Merton’s directions page lists three: Gate A on Wimbledon Park Road near Southfields station, Gate B on Revelstoke Road, and Gate C on Home Park Road near Wimbledon Park station. The council asks people to avoid Revelstoke Road if they can, because it is “always very busy”, and Gate C closes at 6.25pm, 20 minutes before the first display. There is no parking at the event.

Merton runs a second night at Morden Park on Saturday 7 November with the same format, but from Fulham it is a much longer trip than Battersea on the same evening.

Battersea Park: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November

Battersea Park Fireworks is run by the charity Enable with Wandsworth Council. The organisers say the two nights are “completely different shows with different soundtracks”, designed by Titanium Pyrotechnics, the firm behind the Mayor of London’s New Year’s Eve fireworks from 2023 to 2025 (Battersea Park Fireworks information).

Saturday 7 November Sunday 8 November
Park car parks close 3pm 2pm
Park closes for setup 4pm 3pm
Gates open 6pm 4.30pm
Before the display Rudimental DJ, 7.30pm Lords of Lightning, 5.45pm
Last entry 8pm 6.30pm
Fireworks (estimated) 8.30pm 7pm
Ends 11pm 9.30pm

Saturday also has the salsa band Conjunto Sabroso before the fireworks and a Disco Ceilidh after (Saturday page). Sunday has the Taylor Swift tribute Fearlessly Taylor before and a pop afterparty with DJ Josh Lovatt (Sunday page). Both nights have a funfair with half-price rides from 6pm to 7pm. With fireworks at 7pm and an earlier finish, Sunday is the better night for small children and a school morning.

Ticket tiers as the organiser lists them for 2026:

Ticket Price
Super Early Bird (16+) £10.60
Early Bird (16+) £13.10
General admission (16+) £16.70

That is the list as printed, Late Release below general admission included. The site does not say which tier is on sale today. The rules that matter:

  • Advance tickets only, through the official seller Kaboodle. No gate sales, no refunds, no transfers, no resale and no waiting list for sold-out nights.
  • No re-admission once you leave.
  • Under-18s must be with an adult, with a maximum of four under-18s per adult.
  • No food, glass, alcohol or sparklers brought in; bags are checked. Food and drink on site is card only.
  • No full face masks, replica weapons or bulky costumes, worth knowing on the weekend after Halloween.
  • No dogs except registered assistance dogs with an Assistance Dogs (UK) ID book.

Getting there from Fulham. There is no parking in the park apart from a few first-come blue badge bays on Prince of Wales Drive near Alexandra Gate, and that road closes at 5pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday (access page). The organisers name Battersea Park, Queenstown Road, Victoria and Clapham Junction as the rail stations. From Fulham the most direct rail route is the Overground from Imperial Wharf or West Brompton to Clapham Junction, then a train on to Battersea Park or Queenstown Road. The organisers’ own tip is to use Albert Gate if you come from Clapham Junction, because they expect Sun Gate to be much busier on both nights. Albert Gate is also where the bike park is; hire bikes cannot be left inside.

Which one to pick

  • On the night itself, with young children: Wimbledon Park’s 6.45pm show on Thursday 5 November, by District line.
  • A weekend night out: Battersea on Saturday 7 November, fireworks about 8.30pm.
  • Weekend, with under-10s: Battersea on Sunday 8 November, fireworks about 7pm.

Whichever you choose, do not plan to drive. Both councils say there is no event parking. On the morning of Sunday 8 November the Remembrance parades run in Fulham and Shepherd’s Bush; last year they closed roads in both, and the council has not yet published 2026’s closures. Check our roadworks and travel page for weekend Tube closures before you set off, and the parking in Fulham page if you are leaving a car at home for the evening. We will update this page if any display changes its times, sells out or is cancelled for weather.
